The National Executives of the Lands Commission Division of the PSWU has engaged the members of the Union at the Regional level. The engagements which also included a re-organization of the leadership of the Union at the regional level took place in all the erstwhile ten (10) administrative regions of Ghana.
With support from the Regional Secretariats of the PSWU, members of the Lands Commission Division were sensitized on the two (2) flagship programmes of the Union, i.e. the PSWU Fund and the PSWU Mutual Health Insurance Scheme. Also the Divisional Officers briefed members on their Collective Agreement and the activities of the Division.
At the end of the engagement, Regional Officers were nominated, elected and sworn into office by the various Regional Industrial Relations Officers of the PSWU to steer affairs of the Division for a four (4)-year term.
Lands Commission is made up four (4) agencies, namely; Survey and Mapping Division (SMD), Land Registration Division (LRD), Land Valuation Division (LVD), and Public and Vested Land Management Division (PVLMD).
